You see a correlation between Ash's tunes and engine failures? Gee. Thanks for the report. A correlation does not constitue a causal relationship. Ric, there is a SERIOUS flaw in your logic. In a correlation it can be tough to discern the contributing factors, but in this case it actually isn't. (As already stated) There are a number of common agents between the failed engines, and only one was Ash, and it isn't necessarily the same cause. More than likely, however, it was the fact you had in each case a person willing to gamble the integrity of the motor for the sake of extra horsepower. And I am not knocking this approach. Some of the best engine builders in the world (my best friend is one) build NASCAR engines. They only need ot make in 500 miles, and often they don't even do that. You have only raised one good point (an excellent one a that) but it was hours ago. It was, why would a Z run like crap with the Ashspec ECU and the not with the JWT. The response as I read it was possibly the EPROM cip wasn't seated. ASH - could their be another?
